WHAT RELIGION WEARS TURBANS?

WHAT RELIGION WEARS TURBANS?

In India, this ethnic identity symbol is also an important part of spiritual practice. According to the methodologies, the top of our head is the “Crown Chakra” or “The Tenth Gate” which is hair covered and acts like a protector from the sun exposure and to channel the Vitamin D. This was the main reason that has come to be known by all of us that The Yogis and Sikhs don’t cut their head hair, instead prefer them to knot at the top of the head, specifically on Solar centre. Medically, the Rishi Knot helps in channelling the energy flow in the body at the meditation time and thus extends the origin of the spiritual focus of our mind and soul.

The Orange Turban And Their Importance

Turban head coverings are made with curved fabric around the hair. There are many different varieties of turban, and traditionally worn by men. Women around the world wear turban too. Communities that have traditions to wear the head turban are found in Asia, the Near East, the Arabian peninsula and parts of Africa. Among the available colors, orange turban is the most popular.

People wear turbans for many different reasons, whether they are religious, cultural, or just to create a fashion statement. This head wear is very common in the Sikhs. While different colors have symbolic significance, for the most part, the choice of covering the Sikh's head is personal preference.

People of Sikhism should follow a specific Code of Conduct. The Sikhs never cut their hair, because it respects their producer. To maintain clean and untouched hair, wear Sikh turban. Men should wear turban; However, female members can use traditional headscarf instead. There is nothing in religion that determines a certain color, and Sikhs can choose any color of their choice.

Turbans are usually removed only during bathing and sleeping. When removed, it is done so carefully so that it does not touch the floor. It is cleaned and folded neatly to prepare for the next use. The daily routine of a Sikh includes keeping the hair clean and clean (either washing the hair with water or shampooing). Many Sikhs wash their hair before morning meditation.

Many Sikhs of both the jendars like to cover their hair with the outfits of their choice for that special day. Women
Headscars can be either a color, or a crowd of colors. Many are also decorated with embroidery.

There are no such rules that Sikhs should donate a turban of solid color. However, most people like to wear the same color on a daily basis because they like it, and this is very easy to do. Black and blue colors are colors that are usually worn, because they are easy to match with clothing.

Sikhs who are more traditional, can choose colors that have significance in culture. These colors are usually worn by older people of the generations, and they are brought in a traditional way. Each color has a different meaning.

Orange represents courage and knowledge, while the royal blue is usually worn by people learned in Sikhism. Both orange and blue are the traditional colors of Sikhism. Some Sikhs usually wear only these colors for their turbans and clothes. Red is usually worn color in wedding ceremonies and other days of celebration. Other commonly worn colors are black, which represent humility, and white is a symbol of purity.

The orange-colored turban is probably the most common in all colors because this color shows both courage and knowledge. Among those who follow Sikh religion, these are two very special qualities. For this reason, the color orange is quite common in the wardrobe of many Sikh men and women.
